Consistent CRM experience

I've been using Capsule for a few years now, mostly the Professional Edition. I recently renewed for another year. It's consistently reliable for managing my sales pipeline. My data is always there, and the system rarely goes down. Compared to when I first started, the Mobile CRM App has gotten a lot better too. It just works, which is why I keep coming back.

Easy setup, decent features

I signed up for the 14-day free trial of the Teams Edition to see if it fit our small agency. The ordering process was simple, just needed an email and a few clicks. Setting up our team was pretty intuitive; I had everyone added in under an hour. I found the Sales Pipeline Management and Activity Tracking features particularly useful. It integrated with our Gmail account without any fuss. I did have a question about custom fields and used their online support chat, and they responded within a few minutes, which was helpful. The only minor thing was that some reports felt a bit basic, but overall, it handled our needs. We ended up subscribing.

Good for contact management

I used the Free Starter Plan for a month. It helped me keep my client contacts organized. The interface was straightforward. Setup was quick enough. I might upgrade later for more features.

Can I import my existing contacts and sales data from a spreadsheet, or is it all manual entry when you start?

K Kyle Taylor 2 weeks ago
Oh yeah, you can totally import data. They have a good import tool for CSV files, makes migration pretty easy.

Definitely. I imported hundreds of contacts and past deals from an Excel sheet. Just make sure your columns are mapped correctly.

How's the integration with Xero? Does it sync well, or is it a bit finicky?

N Nathan Wright 1 month ago
The Xero integration is pretty solid. It brings over contact info and helps with invoicing tracking directly.

Worked fine for us, pulls in all the client details we need. Saves a bunch of manual entry.

Thinking of switching to Capsule from Zoho CRM. Anyone made that jump? How's the learning curve, especially for sales pipeline stuff?

A Ashley Lee 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I moved from Zoho last year. Capsule is way more intuitive for sales. Zoho felt a bit clunky, this is much smoother.

I didn't use Zoho much, but Capsule's pipeline view is super easy to get. Drag and drop, can't really mess it up.

Trying to figure out if it's worth getting the Professional vs Teams edition. We're a small team of 5, mostly managing client relationships and a few sales leads.

K Katie Mitchell 1 week ago
For 5 people and sales leads, Teams might be overkill if you're not doing heavy project management or complex workflows. Professional is usually enough for contact and basic sales.

I'd go with Professional first. You can always upgrade later if you hit limits or need more advanced stuff like workflow automation.

Is my data actually secure with Capsule? Worried about client info floating around.

D Danielle Martin 4 weeks ago
They use pretty standard security stuff like two-factor authentication and I think they're GDPR compliant too, so privacy is a big deal for them.

I looked into that when I signed up. They mention being GDPR compliant and having strong data protection. Felt comfortable with it.
